Refund policy

Ausamics Pty Ltd

At Ausamics, we supply laboratory-grade culture media, reagents, and research materials. Due to the technical and controlled nature of our products, returns are subject to strict conditions outlined below.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Returns may be considered only under the following conditions:

  • Item is a regularly stocked product

  • Return request is made within 30 days of delivery

  • Product is unopened, unused, and in original sealed packaging

  • Product remains in resellable condition

  • Original labels and batch identification remain intact

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom manufactured products

  • Special order or bulk production batches

  • Perishable or temperature-sensitive materials

  • Opened or partially used products

  • Products stored outside recommended storage conditions

  • Clearance or discounted items (unless faulty)

3. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged in transit

  • Incorrectly supplied

  • Defective due to manufacturing fault

You must notify us within 5 business days of delivery with:

  • Order number

  • Batch number

  • Clear photos of product and packaging

  • Description of the issue

If validated, we will arrange replacement or credit at our discretion.

4. Return Authorization Process

Returns are strictly subject to prior written approval.

Include:

  • Order number

  • Product details

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if applicable)

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

5. Shipping & Restocking Fees

  • All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • A minimum 35% restocking fee may apply to approved returns.

  • Refunds are processed only after inspection confirms the product is in resellable condition.

Customers are responsible for lost or undelivered return shipments.
Proof of delivery is required.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection.

Shipping fees and restocking charges (if applicable) will be deducted.
