The Ausamics CCG Selective Supplement is a balanced antimicrobial blend formulated to enhance the selectivity of dermatophyte culture media such as DTM and other mycological bases. This supplement combines gentamicin sulfate, chloramphenicol, and cycloheximide at optimized working concentrations to suppress competing microorganisms while supporting the reliable recovery of dermatophytes.

Gentamicin sulfate and chloramphenicol (each at 0.1 g/L) inhibit a broad spectrum of Gram‑positive and Gram‑negative bacteria, reducing background flora and improving culture clarity.
